Adrift, Courtney Audain’s acrylic painting of a sailboat under a moon
Adrift · Acrylic on canvas

Two horizons. One canvas.

Courtney Audain is a self-taught, Trinidad and Tobago-born acrylic painter based in Austin, Texas, creating landscapes, still life, creatures, figures and abstracts on canvas. His landscape and still life paintings open a conversation between the Caribbean sea and the wide Texas sky: a moon above Adrift, open land around a farmhouse and an old truck, a jug and fruit holding the quiet of home in between.
